What is the Muting Function?
The muting function is an important tool for creators to manage order in the live stream, allowing creators to control certain users' ability to speak and prevent inappropriate behavior from affecting other viewers' experience.
When should the muting function be used?
Creators can use the muting function in the following situations:
- Inappropriate remarks: Users post insulting, offensive, or violating content.
- Malicious spamming: Users continuously send repetitive or meaningless messages.
- Harassment of other viewers or creators: Users harass or provoke individuals or groups.
How to mute a user?
1. Click on the user's name: In the live stream, click on the user's name.
2. Select the mute option: Choose the "Mute" function from the menu.
3. Choose the mute duration: You can choose the mute duration (starting from 5 minutes) or permanently mute the user, depending on their behavior.
How to unmute a user?
1. If the user's behavior improves, the creator can unmute them at any time and restore their speaking privileges. Simply click on the user's name and select "Unmute.”
2. In the live stream settings, click on "Live Stream Muted List" to view the muted users and their mute durations.

Precautions
- The muting function should be used reasonably to avoid excessively restricting normal users' interaction privileges.
- Consider establishing live stream rules and reminding viewers at the beginning of the live stream to avoid unintentionally violating the muting regulations.
